At 44, he defied his father's time by producing one of the top performances in his career. He was able to throw for 5,316 yards and scored 43 touchdowns. In the end, the factor that played into Brady's decision to retire but that he wanted to devote more time with his family.
The rise to a 99 overall sums up an incredible Madden time for Brady and his teammates. Brady began his career with a rating of 57 in 2001. The future hall-offamer hit the 99 rating mark multiple times during his career, including Madden 09, Madden 12. Madden 18, Madden 19 as well as Madden 22.
